Starting at noon, near the Marché Bonsecours, the whole family is invited to Saint-Paul Street to enjoy Le Banquet populaire, street entertainment and live music shows, all free of charge. You’ll be able to sample traditional New Year’s fare too, inside and outside.
Starting at 6 p.m., the 375th’s La Finale brings its irresistible energy to the Old Port with Merry Montréal! DJ Sabrina Sabotage will be warming up the crowds for the eagerly-awaited return of Mes Aïeux, who will be welcomed by Garou, on the heels of a line-up that includes Daniel Bélanger, Vincent Vallières, Pierre Kwenders, Laurence Nerbonne, Les Deuxluxes and DJ KXO.
Starting at 11:45 p.m., look on as the Jacques Cartier Bridge lights up to the music of a live soundtrack. This brand-new co-creation by Moment Factory and Atomic3 promises to give Montréal’s historic year an absolutely scintillating send-off!
When the clock strikes twelve, watch as fireworks burst high in the sky and merge with the bridge’s magnificent light in this grandiose entrance to the New Year. From La Ronde to Parc Jean-Drapeau to the tip of Île Saint-Hélène, they’ll be exploding across the night sky in a never-before-seen pyrotechnic performance!
Starting at 12:15 a.m., as Le Grand Décompte ends, the new year will roar to life as Champion et ses G-Strings hit the stage, spinning beats for the delirious dance crowd until 2 a.m. For this very special occasion, the lovely and luminescent Clock Tower Quay will also be transformed into a huge dance floor with giant screens simulcasting the New Year’s Eve Party’s full-wattage fun.
