1- Bistro les Deux Gamins
For food enthusiasts and those of you who don’t feel like cooking a big thanksgiving dinner, Bistro Les Deux Gamins on Prince Arthur Street is offering a special Thanksgiving menu on both Sunday and Monday for $35.00.
This includes Soups, Turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings, with their signature Bourbon Gravy!
Instead of pie they are serving up a Pumpkin cheesecake, definitely sounds intriguing!
They have a great atmosphere and extensive wine list.

2- The Rustique Pie Kitchen in Old Montreal
-If you haven’t made your pumpkin pie yet! Or just feel like taking stroll in Old Montreal and grabbing a coffee and a sweet treat, then the Rustique Pie kitchen is a great choice! They make amazing pies for Thanskgiving! Pumpkin Woopie Pies, I think the name says it all!…..
You’ll definitely be the envy of all, at your thanksgiving dinner with one of their delicious pies.
They also have classic pumpkin pies made with slow roasted pumpkins, a special spice blend, topped with fresh whipped cream and toasted pumpkin seeds and mini pumpkin pies to go, by the dozen.

3- The Quinn’s Farm- Fall Festival
If you feel like getting out doors, then the Quinn’s Farm – Fall Festival is on. There will be Apple & Pumpkin picking, tractor rides, pony rides* and live music*. Quinn’s also has an incredible bakery & country store. A must try if you go is their Apple Crumble, it’s absolutely delicious and a favorite of many!
If you are interested in the Pumpkin and Squash Picking the cost is: Pumpkins $0.35/lb and squash $1.00/lb

4- The great pumpkin Ball
The Great Pumpkin Ball Is on again this year at the Botanical Gardens. This is great fun for the kids. They’ll be greeted by Esmeralda the friendly witch as she takes them on a tour of her haunted home. There will also be a display of over 800 carved pumpkins and squashes and a little monster’s courtyard for the young ones or the young at heart.

5- La Ronde Fright Fest:
For those who want to get their fright on! La Ronde Fright Fest has just opened this weekend! It’s a great lead up to Halloween!Zombies and Ghouls and Chain Saw Guys, yes that was plural, have apparently taken over the park! You can enjoy activities for the whole family throughout the day and after the sun goes down be prepared for a truly frightening evening.The Ghouls are set free for their daily hunting rituals and apparently there is no place to hide!

6- Gardens of Light:
For a Zen night out, The Gardens of Light has a beautiful lighted path through the Botanical Garden’s three cultural gardens, each looking at nature from a different perspective. Chinese Garden focuses on water the breath and living pulse of the Earth.The Japanese Garden celebrates the cycle of the seasons and The First Nations Garden illuminates the Sacred Tree, a giant poplar, with different colors representing the Circle of Life. The sculptures, lanterns and lights, music and storytelling will definitely whisk you away!

7- Black & Blue Montreal:
If you want have some fun and burn off those Thanksgiving calories then head out to The Main Event of the Black & Blue Festival held this year at MTELUS (which used to be Club Metropolis) Sunday night starting at 5 pm.
You can dance the night away to international D.J’s all in the support of the BBCM Foundation!
The foundation helps local organizations by providing assistance to people living with HIV / AIDS in Montreal.

8- Imax Theatre: Tiny Giants in 3D
The Imax Theatre is showing “Tiny Giants” in 3D.
You get to experience the extraordinary lives of two small creatures a chipmunk and mouse as they explore the wilderness from their perspectives.
Giant mushrooms, snakes and hug birds are just a few obstacles they encounter!
Definitely an Alice in Wonderland experience for sure!…
